Great stay, super quiet, homely but in the centre of Ludlow close to the Castle, Market and restaurants, river and walks. Close to great walks, great to stay in a 16C property with beams – thanks so much

Three old friends, three days to catch up on each other’s lives. Hard to think of a better base for our special trip than Amana’s perfectly positioned, characterful town house with its many thoughtful touches and home from home comforts.
Just a short jaunt from all the delights this stunning medieval town has to offer and which are best discovered through Amana’s fascinating town tour which brings to life bite sized slices of history. Much easier to digest than a guide book.

We stayed in Amana’s Ludlow town house for almost two weeks, feeling like Ludlow locals in the end. The place was perfect for us: centrally located on a quiet street within easy walking distance to the market (held daily), castle, church, shops, pubs, and restaurants. As for the house itself, the kitchen is large with everything you need, bathrooms are super clean, beds are very comfortable. We easily made ourselves right at home. Amana is friendly and helpful, a charming English lady. We recommend Amana’s townhouse most highly.

Warmly recommended. A charming, quirky and comfortable house – ancient but with all mod cons. We certainly would, and strongly hope, to return.

I’ve stayed n quite a few places in Ludlow but Amana’s has easily been my favourite to date. Wonderful old building full of character, amazing location (literally 1 min to market square), great facilities, and lovely and thoughtful snacks etc on arrival. My two children (7 and 6) also raved about it and even insisted in writing their own reviews in the guest book! I’m tempted to not write a review, to try and keep this wonderful find to myself, but that wouldn’t be fair to future holiday goers. That said, go to Ludlow, a simply marvellous little town, and while you’re there, have the best stay at Amana’s wonderful property.

This was the perfect house for our weekend in Ludlow. It is full of character and charm. Very close to restaurants, pubs, the castle and the market. And yet very peaceful. The wood burner was perfect and the cold weather and added to the cosy feeling of the house.Amana was the perfect host. She even met me at the train station. All her recommendations of places to eat were just perfect. I would definitely recommend this holiday home

Absolutely wonderful stay in this absolutely stunning house.  Perfect location, amazing size and the period details made it extra special.  Such a cosy and comfy home too with a welcome pack that had everything in it we could possibly want.  Amana couldn’t have been more helpful.  We will definitely visit again.

New Year 2023
We have been fortunate to visit Ludlow many times and Amana’s place is the best so far.  Such a comfortable home, perfect location to explore the town and for excellent walks “from the front door”.  We would love to stay here again.  I think a spring/summer visit may be on the cards…
Amana, thank you for being a considerate host and we really loved the welcome pack.

Christmas 2022
We really enjoyed our Christmas away in  Ludlow and found the house very comfortable and peaceful.  Thanks so much for going above and beyond to make our stay possible.  My step-dad especially enjoyed fond memories of being back in Mill Street after being evacuated to Usher House (2 doors down).  We hope to stay again in the future.

Easy & free parking outside was a big help & the house really is a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. We will definitely be back & please do not hesitate to stay here if you get a chance !
